Our Return Policy
We accept returns of most items within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible for return:
- Item must be unused, in original packaging with all tags and accessories
- Original proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided
- Certain fragile collectibles may require special handling (see exceptions below)
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the specialized nature of these collectibles, the following cannot be returned:
- Clearance items (marked as such in our Clearance section)
- Opened model kits (Tamiya or other brands where seals are broken)
- Custom-ordered O Scale Structures & Loads
- Personalized or modified items
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

- Wait for authorization – we’ll respond within 2 business hours with return instructions

Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive your return
- Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Exchange Shipping: We’ll cover standard shipping costs for replacement items
Damaged or Defective Items
If your Lionel rolling stock, MTH O Premier locomotive, or other item arrives damaged or defective:

- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund without requiring return of the damaged item in most cases
- For large items like O gauge track systems, special arrangements may be made
International Returns
For collectors outside the United States:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- Customs fees and import duties are non-refundable
- Processing may take additional 3-5 business days
